Ga-Gi  Gl  Go-Gu

Glucose—This sugar, generally obtained by the hydrolysis of starch, is used as a humectant and skin-conditioning agent. See also Carrageenan.

Glycereth-7 Triacetate Emollient—Solvent.

Glycereth-26—This humectant and moisturizer is a derivative of glycerin. It increases skin hydration, making skin softer and smoother.

Glycerin—This humectant protects and seals moisture on the skin surface. It has been widely used in products as a moisturizing agent.

Glycerine Linolenate Monoester of Glycerin and Linolenic Acid—Skin-conditioning agent, emollient, surfactant, emulsifying agent.

Glyceryl Polymethacrylate—See Lubrajel Oil.

Glyceryl Stearate—This ingredient, derived from palm kernel oil, is used for its emulsifying and moisturizing properties. It is a monoester of Glycerin and Stearic Acid.

Glycine—Skin conditioner, anti-irritant.

Glycolipids—Mixed substances which contain carbohydrates covalently attached to a lipid. Skin-conditioning agent, moisture barrier, moisturizer.
