Ocean78, a small distributor of indoor tanning lotions and spa-quality skincare products announced that it has acquired a new facility in Montreal, which includes a state-of-the-art laboratory where the company can manufacture its own brands and offer private-label services.
The new facility comes as part of an agreement between Ocean78 and a Florida-based compay to manufacture Ocean78’s new brand of nutraceutical goods (including a full range of whey proteins, creatines, and other supplements).
With the new laboratory, the company will begin manufacturing its own brands and continue to create private-label indoor tanning lotions and skincare products.
“We can offer a much higher quality product at a portion of the price,” says Ozzie Ocean, president of Ocean78. “I am looking forward to raising the bar and continuing to offer exceptional service.”
Ocean78 has already begun creating its two new brands of tanning lotion, which will be available in August. The company also is developing a high-quality brand of moisturizers, exfoliants, salt scrubs and other skincare products.
“I expect Ocean78 to be a major player in the marketplace by 2009,” says Sean Roloff, head biochemist for the company.
Ocean78 has created a name for itself by offering a full return policy, no minimum orders, and the company always pays the shipping costs. In addition, Ocean78 is the sole Canadian distributor for Tanzotic, BreeZe and Deep Hawaii, and carries other brands such as RSun, Rock On and Olio Tan.
