Researchers in Austria have found a correlation between vitamin D and testosterone levels. In their studies, men with higher blood levels of vitamin D also exhibited greater amounts of testosterone. According to Britain’s Daily Telegraph, the two levels actually rose at the same rate – more vitamin D, more testosterone.
Other vitamin D research revealed that a man’s testosterone level could be increased nearly 70 percent after a single hour of sunlight exposure. Although vitamin D can be produced through dietary means, its production is stimulated when the skin receives UV light.
