With the challenging economy, “staycations” (staying close to home instead of spending the money to travel) have increased in popularity. However, one hotel chain is now offering “spraycations” – a free spray tan with a night’s paid lodging.
The British-based Premier Inn is running the promotion at 10 different hotels across the countryside every Friday night in August. No word on how many pasty-white Brits they estimate will take advantage of the offer. A hotel spokesman is hopeful that anyone who wants to feel like they really “got away” (enough to come back with a tan) will consider it, though.
