I’ve been sharing photos from JK-North America’s 3rd annual West Coast Tanning Expo in Vegas, and I’ve got some great ones yet to come. First off, to give you an idea of how packed it was, here are some shots of the exhibit hall:
Amidst all the high-energy events of the first day, JK treated us all to lunch. The food was abundant (you can't always say that when the crowd is so large, but it was certainly the case here), and the room was full of great company. This was one of many networking opps at the expo.
It wouldn’t be a JK show without Jerry Deveney handing out $100 bills!
Dale Willerton, aka “The Lease Coach,” delivered a general session to help salon owners negotiate the ups and downs of their leases in light of a struggling economy. Willerton also writes a monthly column on LookingFit.com to share his experience.

Christy Hogan from Podz and Dr. Sun Rx does her best Little Orphan Annie impression during a Soft Podz demo.
Over at the MR International booth, Max Recone and Frankie Burrell were glad they had plenty of H10O on hand to stay hydrated with all the talking they were doing.
Sheila Routon from Four Seasons also had a steady stream of booth visitors.
Lewis Henry may have given the camera the cold shoulder, but he’s always happy to talk about Devoted Creations.
Jake and Jamie from EyeSwirls drew a lot of attention with their product – who doesn’t need a little under-eye soothing rehydration action in Vegas?
The Walls + Forms whiz kid known simply as “J” was holding down the fort at the tanning lounge area.
Randy Tipton from Universal Insurance enjoys catching up with salon owners – and helping them watch their bottom line, as Jenny Bortman so often reminds us in her informative Looking Fit articles.
